Amongst the alternatives are expensive innovations like hybrid and electric vehicles, but for the average employee these are outside the realm of affordability. So, what alternative is left for the common man to at least save some of his hard earned income at the pump? The answer may be water. That is right, read on to find out how a car runs on water to save you gas.

You may be scratching your head at this point and rightly so. Running a car on water is not exactly the most well known or widely accepted technique for saving gas. If it was as simple as pouring water into your gas tank, everyone would be doing it right? Firstly, it is not as simple as pouring water into your gas tank; rather it is the result of the interplay between the chemical makeup of water itself and the inherent inefficiency of the average internal combustion engine that makes saving gas by running your engine partially on the constituents of water possible.

So, before you can understand how this system saves you gas, you need to understand what the system is and how it works! The system which allows you to use water to supplement your fuel is essentially an on board electrolyzer that splits water into hydrogen and oxygen via electrolysis. After water is split into its constituent molecules, the hydrogen and oxygen gases are fed into the engine via the air intake. It is the remarkable effects on fuel burning properties within the cylinders which explains the increased fuel efficiency caused by utilizing this water for gas system, not the energy from the hydrogen or oxygen itself.

In other words, since you are using electricity from the alternator to split the water into hydrogen and gas, the laws of thermodynamics state that you cannot possibly get more energy out of a closed system than you put in. If there is a net loss of energy from the electrolysis of water, then how can running your car on water save you gas? The answer lies in the improved utilization of the gasoline itself.

But when a car runs on water, what happens in the engine? Normally, a gasoline or diesel engine does not efficiently utilize the energy within the fuel and much of it is lost in the form of heat, vibration, and even unburnt fuel. If you were to calculate the actual efficiency of the average vehicle engine, you would find it to be much less than 30%. This is due to the factors listed above. When you mix hydrogen with the fuel mix, the flame spread is improved as well as the efficiency of the burn itself. The extra fuel economy is caused by the ability of your vehicle to run on a leaner fuel mix than is possible without the addition of hydrogen. The increased economy afforded by the addition of hydrogen more than offsets the amount of energy lost during electrolysis, leading to a net gain in efficiency and gas savings.

How a Car Runs on Water to Save You Gas

How to Save Gas With a Hydrogen Water Charged Engine

How to Save Gas With a Hydrogen Water Charged Engine

It's no secret that over the past decade, gas prices have gone up tremendously. It's not likely that any person in their 20s would have ever experienced gas prices that were $2 per gallon. Now, it's easily up to $3 and $4 per gallon and higher in some places. There is a solution though - one that many tech-savvy people are looking into. This is the hydrogen water charged engine or hydrogen generators. This technology helps to combat rising fuel costs by using ordinary tap water to help fuel the vehicle, thereby helping the environment as well. HHO kits are easy to build and install. They have plenty of benefits as well.

Hydrogen generators work off a basic chemical reaction - water dissolving into its components of hydrogen and oxygen. This is done by a process called electrolysis, which applies an electric field to the streams of water in the container to split it into its components of oxygen and hydrogen due to the two elements having opposite electrical charges. So as long as you have a good supply of ready water in your car, you've got a reasonable source of fuel to use in this setup. However, water is rather heavy, so it's likely not feasible to try and replace your entire system with a hydrogen generator. Plus that'd take a lot more equipment than most people have available.

Many companies have been trying to push for the inclusion of HHO generators in select models of their cars, but with the ease of getting them installed and created from parts around the home, these companies are giving up on this effort. Though it is better to use an HHO with a condenser, people don't because these models can cost upwards of $1500 before installation. However, if water vapor forms on the walls of the engine, it can do damage just as if gasoline were clogging the pipes. Condensers are able to solve this problem. There are several benefits to the use of hydrogen as fuel, such as a cleaner engine, cleaner exhaust and a cleaner environment due to less carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide being put into the air from burning conventional gasoline. In fact, the IRS is recognizing taxpayers who choose green lifestyles and is offering them tax credits for their actions..

There are plenty of sites online that offer instructions on how to build your own HHO generator out of spare parts, or things that you can easily get from a hardware store. The good thing is that building one yourself can be 95% cheaper compared to getting a large company to install it. Plus, gasoline costs a lot more than tap water does, so you'll only be paying half at the pump what you normally would in the best of times, because you can replace half your fuel with water.

Building a hydrogen water charged engine is one of the best ways for people to cut back on oil use while helping to save the environment from greenhouse gases. Whether or not you decide to install one yourself or buy one is up to personal preference and the amount of money available to you.

Water Powered Cars

Water Fuel
Since oil was first discovered in the U.S. in 1859 oil has supplied about 40% of the world's energy and 96% of its transportation energy. The world has consumed over 875 billion barrels of oil since then. Another 1,000 billion barrels of proved and probable reserves remain to be recovered.

From now to 2020, world oil consumption is estimated to rise by about 60%. Transportation will be the fastest growing oil-consuming sector. By 2025, the number of cars will increase to well over 1.25 billion from approximately 700 million today. Global consumption of gasoline could double.

This is a worrying reality as many people now realize that we simply cannot completely rely on oil as we have in the past. Great advancements have been made in the field of hybrid cars in recent years; however millions of people could have been driving these cars 20 years ago if only we too the damage we are doing to the environment seriously. Many recognize renewable resources as the way forward but it does come at a cost to the consumer.

Another option that will help us to cut down dramatically on Gasoline consumption is to convert your car to run on a mixture of gasoline and water. The technology to make a car run on water is nothing new and has been patented a long time ago. Devices that use a little electricity from your car's battery to separate water into a gas called HHO (two hydrogen and one oxygen) have been around for a while. HHO (also known as Brown's gas or Hydroxy) burns very well and gives heaps of energy. The end product of HHO burning is water. So why is HHO so powerful? Because it has the atomic power of hydrogen, and the chemical stability of water. And it is 3 TIMES more potent than gasoline. Converting your car to run on this mixture is more efficient than just gas, cutting down emissions dramatically and cutting your fuel bill by up to 60%. With a regular engine running on gas, you don't get much mileage, because a lot of the energy is wasted in the form of heat and pollution. This is not the case with HHO. How water can run a car Water does not act like gasoline or petrol or diesel etc. The water becomes gas after electrolysis. Electrolysis is a process where electrical energy is used to change the water into Brown's gas or HHO. Water is made of hydrogen and oxygen (H2O). The two hydrogen atoms get separated from the oxygen atom through the process of electrolysis. Electricity is needed for this and that electricity comes from the car battery. Through the electrolysis process the water splits into hydrogen and oxygen. You need to mix this oxyhydrogen with gasoline and you can get that needed energy from this mixture that is enough to run your car. After electrolysis the water converts into two flammable gases. One is hydrogen and the other is oxyhydrogen. These two gases will act as fuels and help you to run your car on the road. If you can convert water into these two gases you can get the fuel without spending huge money. The electricity converts into chemical energy and this energy can be used as fuel. This advanced technology has made it possible for anyone to run your car on water.

A DIY manual has been compiled to guide you through the process of converting your car to run on water. The GasSaver System is a step by step instruction manual showing you just that. It will show you how to build, install and tweak the GasSaver system for maximum gas saving, while significantly boosting engine power and performance. No damage is caused to the car and it is guaranteed not to void your vehicles warranty. The guide tells you what parts you need to buy at a hardware store at a nominal cost and provides the precise steps required to run your vehicle on good old fashioned H2O.

Main Features of GasSaver System Include:

-Reduces Co2 emmissions -Cuts gas bill up to 60% -Cost effective installation -Easily acquire parts for conversion fro a hardware shop -Makes your car more environmentally friendly

Car Thieves

Some of you may have already heard/seen about this issue. But, I corrected it further.
Seems that car thieves have found yet another way to steal your car or truck without any effort at all. The car thieves peer through the windshield of your car or truck, write down the VIN from the label on the dash, go to the local car dealership and request a duplicate key based on the VIN .

The Car Dealer's Parts Department will make a duplicate key from the VIN , and collect payment from the thief who will return to your car. He doesn't have to break in, do any damage to the vehicle, or draw attention to himself. All he has to do is walk up to your car, insert the key and off he goes to a local Chop Shop with your vehicle. However, some car dealer started asking for ID. But that doesn't mean much when your car is stolen. Are you or the police are going to call all dealers in your town/city or state to see if any of them recently made keys for that VIN ? To avoid this from happening to you, simply put some tape (electrical tape, duct tape or medical tape) across the VIN Metal Label located on the dash board (on some cars it is on the driver side edge of the windshield). By law, you can't remove the VIN, but you can cover it so it can't be viewed through the windshield by a car thief. (Duct tape creates a little more mess as the glow dries out. I would suggest mailing label, which creates less mess when dries out.)
So be very careful. They offer a vast variety of cars, numerous financial deals and at times even chip in maintenance services free of cost. But what needs to be noted is that it is preferred for customers to buy used cars from registered car dealers instead of attaining them from private dealers.

Not everyone can be trusted, hence here are some factors which you can consider to figure out if your chosen used car dealer is trustable or not:

Status

The reputation or status of a used car dealer is a very fundamental factor, which must be taken into consideration before making a deal. It is rather easy to make a business deal with a just, sincere and helpful car dealer as long as he is reputable and holds a good status in the market. To locate reputable use car dealers, you can simply look up the local Better Business Bureau for reliability reports of car dealers. What you can also do is talk to your family and friends who acquired their cars from used car dealers and are satisfied with what they received.

Assistance

Locating a well-reputed used car dealer is not the only factor that matters. You also need to check the services offered by your chosen car dealer. The services might include maintenance and service appointments, loans to help you acquire your car if you are having financial issues, discounts which might vary on the basis of location and bargaining, extended car warranties etc.

Cost of the Vehicle

Do not assume that the price you are going to pay is for the entire car. This is not true when it comes to dealing with car dealers. A vast number of dealerships usually comprise of "add-ons" that might include tinting of windows, accessories for the car, CD changers, products for protecting the paint of your car, undercarriage coatings, accessories for your car's interior etc. At times car dealers usually install the add-ons beforehand to force the customer into buying the car. If you truly require these supplementary add-ons, then they just might come as a blessing for you. But if you do not need them, check the car beforehand so you would not have to pay extra for things you do not even need.

These factors are a must to consider in every used car dealer, no matter how respectful or well-reputed he is.
